Q for women re: AKL rooms...

I read somewhere in some information about AKL that the rooms are rather dimly lit, and they said that women may want to think of bringing a lighted makeup mirror b/c of it.

So -- my question to all you women out there who have stayed at AKL... did you find it too dark in the bathroom area to easily do your makeup? Did you find that you wanted to instead do it near the balcony window, or was it just fine??

I'd hate to just go get something and bring it, just to find out I really don't need it.

I just used the bathroom mirror as there was plenty of light on that.
Not to mention when the curtains in your room are opened the brightness is taken care of.
It only seems dim when they are closed or it's getting dark in the evening.

I don't think you will need to bring an extra light...

It was dimmer than other resort bathrooms; but I wouldn't bother bringing a mirror. I had no problems with the lighting with getting ready for the day.

I agree no problem with lighting, the mirror would be just one more thing to pack and who needs that. :cloud9:

:thumbsup: Thanks! Good to know I won't need one. As much as I enjoy shopping, esp. for a Disney trip, I'd rather spend the money in the parks!!
