Day 4-
Today is a DHS day-
Our plan was to get up very early and make sure we get to DHS in time to see Toy Story mania which we couldn’t get to see last year-
We got up early, had breakfast, and hopped on the boat to DHS. One of my daughter’s got picked as honorary captain, and once the captain realized they were twins, he allowed both of them up front.
The boat was surprisingly empty, so I was hoping the entry to DHS would be less crowded than I expected…. I was wrong.
We got into the gate early, but then once we got in, the CMS were holding back the crowd while a skit was being performed. Exactly at 9am, they let us go thru, I jogged right to Fast pass for TSM and got one for 10:30 while my wife and kids got in line for TSM . I joined them in line and we got on the ride in about 10 minutes. http://www.bryangalloway.com/Toystory1.JPG While standing in line, My wife actually found someone’s driver’s license on the floor, and gave it to a CM. the person came looking for it about 5 minutes later. He was very happy to have it returned.. Anyway we got on, and the ride was great, http://www.bryangalloway.com/Toystory6.JPG we really enjoyed it. Of course I won 
Afterwards we went to Honey I shrunk the kids playground, http://www.bryangalloway.com/Honey91.JPG Muppets, Star tours and Great Movie ride with less than 5 min wait, and subsequently over to TSM to use our fastpass, and I grabbed a 2nd FP for 6:00pm. This time we actually waited more in the fast pass line than we did in the earlier walk through. I won again  and made sure to rub it in, because my wife annually kills me on the Buzz ride in MK.
At this point it was noon and really hot- like 102 degrees, and since we had dinner reservations at HBD and were meeting friends at 3pm, the family wanted to go back to the hotel to cool off in the pool- so we went outside, the boat wasn’t there so we took a cab- 6$ and were back in the hotel in no time..
We took a quick dip, ate lunch at Hurricane Hannah’s ( not the greatest choice, I am not a big fan D+ , the service is always very poor) and got back to DHS by 3:15, and met our friends who were coming from West Palm and staying at the Dolphin. We went to see the Mermaid, then One man’s world and Narnia,
Had an early 5pm dinner at Hollywood Browd Derbey(HBD). It was excellent, I gave it an A, we had a great waiter named Raul, he did a great job and also was terrific with the kids ( totaling 4 now with our friends) We shared a Cobb salad ( Excellent) and I had the Yellowfin Tuna, which was also excellent. To top it off, we had the famous Grapefruit cake which is worth the meal- it’s terrific. The waiter was cool and let one of my daughters get it on the kid meal plan by switching a few things around. http://www.bryangalloway.com/HBD5.JPG
Now we had an interesting dilemma, we had our friends here, who have kids that are close friends with ours, and we had to determine if we should walk around the park with them, because they had been here since 12 and had done certain rides, and we had been here in the early am…
We decided to go around together, and while it was fun to see them , but it messed up or touring plan, which my kids and (susequently me...) would moan about later. We ended up going on Star tours 3 times ( because one of the kids HAD to…) and then the Muppet show again and Mermaid again, my kids had wanted to go get a picture with the “Up” characters, but by the time we got there, they had left for the night…we did get Frozone http://www.bryangalloway.com/Frozone.JPG and Gypeto http://www.bryangalloway.com/gypetto.JPGand Pocahantas http://www.bryangalloway.com/pocahantas4.JPG (dad liked that..) The moral is that it’s difficult to mix and match a park visit because each go about them in a different approach, we were more organized and then were more play it by ear… and we ended up not being able to see American idol because they had gone and it was basically a mess… Next time I will have to make sure we begin the day together to avoid the mismatched touring.
Either way it was a good day, it’s hard to complain when you are having fun.
We went back to the room at 11pm, much later than my kids usually stay up. Our friends stayed there till 12.
Interesting tid bits- One of my daughters was waiting to go to the Star Wars store to get a “make your own lightsabre’ but each time we went, the CM was saying that they were missing a few key pieces. This was at 11am, 6pm and 7pm, then at 7;30 someone was packing up all the parts. It’s weird that they would go the entire day and not have that key item available. Mackenzie was pretty let down, she really wanted one..She had saved up $$ for it herself.
We got pictures with some different characters- Geppetto, the penguins from Mary Poppins, Snow White, Pocohantas and Frozone. And went to the Animation class which was a TON of fun. http://www.bryangalloway.com/taylorart.JPG My kids love to draw so we had a great time there and will definitely go again.
We also got to see the Pixar desk lamp character (forgot the name) it would pop up on Pixar blvd right after the building that houses Woody and Buzz character greetings. It was pretty cool and well designed.
For Extra magic hours at DHS, many rides are not open, only a small handful, I don’t get the logic here, everyone crowds on a few rides and it becomes more of a hassle. This was a non-Fantasmic night, but in reality, I guess it’s better to come during fantasmic and NOT got to Fantasmic, because the crowds were light all day but miserable at EMH. Very illogical.
Today’s notes=
1.) Jon/Kate hairdo – The running total was now up to 4 as we saw someone in the great Movie ride right in front of us with one.
2.) The [removed] neighbors. – The guys were sitting by the pool till midnight downing a few more cases, I have yet to see their wives and only saw the kids once. Nor have I seen them swim.

It is hard to tour with others especially when you have very different styles! Still, it sounds like it was good to get together with friends!

Bryan! What is this?? Is this a set of twins with your twins or are my eyes playing tricks on me?? Oh, I couldn't imagine touring parks with another family. Good for you for giving it a whirl. Kai makes a lightsaber each visit...too bad Mackenzie didn't get to..Also, we loved AI, hope you get to it next time.
Another Kate??:)

you and your family were troopers, doing double attractions with your friends. You're right though, you can't mix touring styles... we are more 'play it by ear', but the 'planner' families always impress me.

My plan was anti-EHM. We went wherever there were no EHM, to avoid the crowds. I can never get my crew up early enough anyway to take advantage of them.

Sorry, you missed AI, but then again, there's always next year. Great report, Bryan!

Another great day Bryan! Even though your touring styles are different, I bet your girls had a great time with friends. That always makes nice memories!

Love the Beer Drinking rednecks! Got to admit, those boys know how to relax!

Poor Mackenzie! Hope she gets that light saber next time! Yep, the more people you have, the more difficult it is to tour the parks. Sounds like you had a nice time, though.
