MNSSHP FL resident ?

We have friends planning to go to MNSSHP Oct 8th. When will they know when/if they can buy them online or wait until the day of? They wanted to use their FL resident discount. They are new to Disney :)

I believe your friends will need to purchase in advance and then pick up the tickets at will call to validate that they are residents and eligible for the discount.

From Info Central:


Specially priced tickets must be purchased in ADVANCE and are not available on-site or on the day of the event. All Passholder tickets and DVC Tickets must be picked up at Will Call to validate discount.

Online she can only purchase pre-purchased ticket at a discount, not FL resident tickets. HELP :confused:

I don't think they offer a FL Res discount on the party. I have only seen Passholder and DVC dates announced.
I'm a FL Res and a Passholder and I was hoping for a Resident rate on different nights, but it hasn't happened.
