2009 parade taping

does anyone know when they will be taping the Christmas parade at the MK this year??? I know it is usually around the first of December... THANKS!!:mickey:

They usually tape the parade the first weekend
in December. (fri-sun) So you might want to avoid MK these days, I think I read that the kingdom is only open to Annual Passholders anyways, but another said that if you want to see the taping, and you are lucky to be picked, you have to plan to stay there for 4+ hours while they tape. I am sure if this is wrong info someone will correct it!

Yeah, the info above is correct. It'll be Dec 4-5 this year. Usually the music acts in front of the castle are done on Friday and the parade takes all day on Saturday. Definitely a pain because MK is VERY crowded on those days and you can really only watch the taping if you sign up as an "extra" which entails a 4+ hour shift.

I heard the AP will get you a good spot in front of the castle. Not 100% sure, but that's what I heard.

False. The MK is open to all, but it is a real pain to get around Main Street and 'The Hub.' The WDRR gets a lot of business that weekend.
