Where do u eat outside "The World"

Longhorn Steakhouse. It's a chain like Outback but they have the BEST ribs of all those type places.

The Ale House is great. You turn left as you leave the Disney entrance nearest DTD. It's not to far down the road, you would see it on the left side of the road. Great food and prices! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

We enjoy the Bahama Breeze near downtown disney...its a chain but our food has always been good and the service excellent...and to a lesser degree the Joe's Crab Crab Shack.

Our favorite place to eat at outside of WDW...just outside Downtown Disney is Fudrucker's (the best freshly made burgers ever, and the kids get a yummy cookie with their meal, their choice!After they are done eating of course;)) and TGI Fridays ( I love the right price right portion meal deals)!

Sweet Tomatoes or Macaroni Grill are two we frequent when we are "in town"

yes..we found the Fudruckers on the last trip! DH loves their toppings bar.

Vito's Chop House on International Drive (near the convention center) is AMAZING. (Supposedly, they "invented" the blue cheese on filet mignon craze years ago.) Their filets are excellent AND huge! The service is very good.

At Universal City Walk, we ALWAYS make a point of going to the Nascar Grille, which was good before, and even better since they renovated it.

At Universal Studios itself, we often have lunch at Finnegan's Tavern. They've got excellent sandwiches, and their beer selection is very strong.

JOE'S CRAB SHACK!!!! Ah, the crab nachos! Wish I had some of them now!!!! Of course we LOVE Rainforest Cafe! I don't mind Fudpuckers, but would rather have Joe's!!!

One of the best places my family went to was Giordano's. It is just outside WDW. It has some of the best Chicago-style pizza you will ever get.

Uno isn't bad but I have had both and Giordano's is much better. When my office flies to Chicago to work with our Chicago office, we always go to lunch there.

Actually my wife and I had Uno's Pizza the other day for dinner and we both commented on how Giordano's pizza was better.

You can't go wrong with either place but I would highly suggest Giordano's.

Sweet Tomatoes is a buffet place, and it's all yummy stuff. It has a HUGE salad bar, as well as pizza, soups, custom sauted pasta dishes, baked potato bar. Probably more, but I haven't been there in a few years. yum

I think that the new one is open in the Gooding's Plaza...just outside of the gates near DTD. They were finishing it up when we were there in December...anybody know?

Last trip we ate at Fishbones, a seafood restaurant on International Drive near Sea World. It was a great restaurant, I do believe it is a local chain, I thnik there is another down the other end of International Drive by the Beltz Mall.
