We all know what your fav beverages are now. :marg:I shall consider it my duty to report back on as many as I can (remember)
Also, though, if you combine that with W/O kids and a wanting little bit of peace and quiet, what do you come up with? Do you have a little hidy-hole where you stop if you just want to relax:cloud9:
I miss the little Cat Walk Bar upstairs from Brown Derby. I totally miss MatsuNoMa. I love the little Belle Vue at BW, is it still there? At AK I think Victoria Falls has a cool in between the floors kinda feeling. The Outer Rim was always a favorite at C. Is it open again? Has anyone sat in one of those little blue rooms at the Wave?
What's your favorite?

My GF's and I were having a conversation over wine and pizza last week about our past trips when we were still single....

Not really a lounge, but our favorite memory is from Pleasure Island, Aug 1997: we were leaving 8Trax 80's night and were walking along the water behind 8Trax and Comedy Warehouse. There was a DJ and he was gathering people to play "Name that Tune", so we decided to get a table and join in. Well, there was a bar next to the tables and the DJ would take bar breaks. We had the best time playing name that tune and of course making trips to the bar! So much fun that there was no way we were taking the bus back to POR and ended up taking a taxi. Everytime I went back to PI I looked to see if they were playing name that tune again and never did see it (or the bar open). It was back in the good ol' days when you needed a ticket to get on PI and it was packed!

We like the lounge in YC...I believe it's tucked inbetween the two restaurants...we had snack type food also...We enjoyed the outer rim also...Have you tried to get into the lounge at the Cali Grille...they'll let a few persons up that don't have dinner reservations to use the lounge. I don't think around the fireworks times though.

The Catwalk bar was such a great place for a mid-afternoon break! I was very sorry when it closed!

The Belle Vue at BW is my favorite. You can sit inside and listen to the old music, or sit out on the porch overlooking the Boardwalk. My wife and I sit out there everytime. I've never had bad service. The bartenders are top notch and can answer anything. I think I'll have to stop by next weekend!!!

Take a walk down memory lane w/me...won't you? Early 1980s, Poly resort. A little tucked-away place called the "Tambu Lounge". Held probably 20-30 people comfortably. Entertainment was a guy who sang, played the guitar, and did a little light comedy. Name of John...something! Who knows his last name?

The Catwalk Bar was one of our favorite hidden gems...we were so sad when it was closed.

We also love the Bellevue Lounge, and go for a nightcap at least once per trip...we spent a hurricane hunkered down it that lounge as well (I think that it was in 2003).

What Do they tell you to do if there is a hurricane warning? My daughter was in college in Sarasota and they had to go to the nearby hospital. I think I would rather hunker down at the BellVue
