Which week is the best week to go to disney in august? which week are you going?

We are going Aug23rd - 30th. Last year we were there around the same time and we enjoyed the tropical storm.

We went mid month last August and were caught in Hurricane Fay. We are going the first week in August this year. Hopefully no Hurricane!

I like the attitude storms or hurricanes will not stop us. We actually got on more rides last year during the storm then the previous year in June when the weather was nice. My husband preferred the rain and the ponchos over the sun and the heat. We got to go on Toy Story three times during the storm.

August 16th - 22nd!!! Can't wait!!! Finally got our Disney Reservation packet and Magical Express tickets in the mail too!!!!:minnie:

Although I would rather have good weather and not spend my week in a poncho again....it sure lessens the locals coming to crowd the lines!!!! He he :secret:

We're going August 17-25 this year. We went three years ago in August and it was great! There was a hurricane (a little south of DW...the park just had some rain no major winds), the parks were open and no one was there! A day of ponchos was worth it...we were able to ride BTMR and SM over and over and over without a wait!

it seems the later in august the better for crowds but a bigger chance for tropical storm/hurricanes

We check in on the 20th. We're staying through until the 31st. We've usually been late September annual visitors ; we're hoping that it won't be a lot hotter and more crowded.

Aug 19th - 24th!!! And it is our first time there. I am more excited than my whole family. Maybe because I have heard about it for 36 years and my kids have only been alive for 5 and 7 years :mickey:
