July 12, 2002 – The Lizzie McGuire episode “Over the Hill” aired on the Disney Channel.
July 12, 2002 – Disney’s one-hour TV series “Monk” premiered on the USA Network. (13 episodes were released to cable beginning Aug. 13, 2002)
July 12, 2002 – The Disney/Touchstone Picture film “Reign of Fire” was released in theaters.
July 12, 2004 – The attraction “Donald’s Boat” closed for rehab. (Reopened Aug. 13, 2004)
July 12, 2005 – The 4-DVD’s “The Best of the Mickey Mouse Club,” “Mickey Mouse Club: The Best of Britney, Justin, and Christina,” “Secrets, Stories & Magic of the Happiest Place on Earth,” and “Vintage Mickey” were released in honor of Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary.
