Hi! I have two quick questions:

Which place is the best to eat with kids? considering we have 1 8 year old and twins (2years and 10 months) all boys. A place they will enjoy.

and 2nd question We prefer the Disney Transportation but if we like to get offsite for say 2 days only, where should we rent? how do we get back to the hotel? etc.

Thanks! we are planning for a January 2010 trip!

You might want to ask your dining question in that forum.

Places that are popular for those with children include:
Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary
O'Hana's at the Poly
Hoop De Doo Review at Fort Wilderness Campground
Donald's Safari Breakfast at Animal Kingdom
Boma at Animal Kingdom
Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge

Car rentals are available at Disney from the Care Care Center and from the Swan report.

You can arrange pickup to and from the car care center to get your car and to return to your resort. Other, off-site rentals in the nearby area offer similar service.

If you are looking for character dining, I like the Crystal Palace at the MK.

As far as car rentals, also price a rental from the airport. It might be cheaper than the Car Care center or the Swan.

If you check info central above and go to character meals, you can see which characters are where and plan accordingly.

We have always pre-booked our vehicle for a vendor at the airport (alamo, etc). If your area has "Entertainment" books, various car rental agencies always have coupons for upgrades, free days, etc.

Have fun. Planning is part of the magic!!
