Wife and I were booked for 9 days/8 nights and French Quarter from 9/26-10/4 during Free Dining. We were fine with this but I got a bug to try something new since we have never stayed at the same resort twice. I found that I could get a Studio Villa at Boardwalk for about $3100.00 with and 8-Day Park Hopper and Standard Dining, which is about $1100.00 more than my standard room at French Quarter. We like that it is within walking distance of Epcot, and the price isn't a huge deal, but I want it to be worth it. Will I be happy with my choice?

to us its def. worth the money. we cant afford it this year, my husband got laid off so we went with port orleans, however, when things pick up and we are back on top of things, I will be back to deluxe. I much prefer being close to bus rides everywhere. It's a completely different vacation, and much more special.

We stay at BWV every year. We love being so close to 2 parks. The BW itself if fun at night.

We love BWV, we also like POFQ very much - but I'd rather stay at the BW. You can't beat the location.

One factor to realize i that the food court convenience of POFQ is absent here.

I've tried over and over to stay at BW, but it's always too expensive. I even tried to rent some points from a DVC owner and still couldn't get in....in January! You'll love being able to walk into Epcot. That's my all-time wish at WDW. One day....

You will almost certainly love it. The problem is, you do get spoiled with the amenities and the location. If you check my signature line, you will find that we almost always stayed at moderates and my wife always wanted to stay at PORS. Once we tried Beach Club there was no going back. So be prepared and enjoy. Mark
