DW and I always dine once at the GF, and this is bar none the smell I have the greatest nostalgic attachment to. So sweet and perfumy, yet slightly spicey. Can anyone place it or know what it is??

Yes, actually I'm pretty sure that's an ingredient; I think I saw some shredded hundreds mixed into the potpourri.

Someone on another site posited "stargazer lilies", but I have no idea. It hits you as soon as you enter the lobby though.

But it's not just in the lobby - every time we came back from the parks and opened the door to our room, we were welcomed with "the smell"!

To answer the question, I am not sure. It's a nice smell, whatever it is.

I think it's the Stargazer Lily's that they use in their floral arrangements. They keep them so fresh in all the buildings. One of my favorite scents :cloud9:.

My favorite comment ever... and so true.

Don't know about the lobby, but the smell in your room probably comes from an air freshner strip stuck behind the armoire.

Well, I've always recognized the scent of stargazer lily's, so that's what I'm sticking with :secret:.

I am going to get groans for this one, but I love the scent of the bathrooms in the parks.
The air fresheners to all you silly folks out there.
The ones on the walls. It is made by Ecolab and is called Mandarin Burst. I love it. I would love to have it in my house but it appears that the item if for commercial purchase only due to the chemicals that are in it.
I almost asked a CM for a can of it but didn't want to seem too weird.
