I was wondering whether anyone has ever cabbed to the Orlando Premium Outlets? How much was the cab fare? If we end up going in Sept, I would LOVE to visit the outlets, but we won't have a rental car, so we would have to cab. Are there any other transportation options to get the outlets? TIA for any info! :mickey:

1) You could
. . . taxi
. . . Lynx city bus (from TTC)
. . . rent an on-site car for the day
2) However, BE FOREWARNED
. . . most of these are "factory outlets"
. . . many are not, for the most part, "discount outlets"
. . . they are, in fact, a direct outlet for factory selling
. . . in many cases they prices are same or HIGHER than normal stores
. . . just compare prices before buying

NOTE: We got fooled into this when we first moved to Orlando. There are deals out there, just make sure you compare. This is not like Tennessee, where an "outlet" branded store MUST have prices discounted from MSRP.

THanks for the info. Does anyone have an estimate of what it would cost to take a cab there? Probably from one of the All Stars.

Alternatively, could you give me more info about taking the bus? Or where could I find more info about the bus? Lots of questions! :mickey:

If you can get address of your to and from location, you can use the Taxi Fare Finder (http://www.mearstransportation.com/TaxiFareEstimator.asp) to figure out your costs.

And, as far as the buses, you can use the Lynx web-site (http://www.golynx.com/) to figure out the proper bus(es) to take.
