It was 10 years ago today that the original REO Speedwagon post first graced these boards. Amazing! I remember where I was when I was typing away. I wasn't even married back then, let alone have kids.

Incidently, I'm seeing them in concert this Sunday night. It should be a good time. :thumbsup:

I actually started a second one a couple of years ago, but that got deleted also.

That original one was cool...looking back at what we all said when it first started was pretty neat. Ian, it may have been you that said your first post in there was your 300th and you were all proud of it, and then a couple years later you laughed because you were then up to 15,000 or something.

Ahhhh, the days...

Is Styx still fronting for them? That is the concert I would be quick to get tickets for!! After hearing the collaboration on the live concert albums - from both sides - I must say it would be well worth the price of admission.

The show was outstanding. Each of the shows on this tour opens with .38 Special, and then Styx and REO alternate on who closes the show. For ours, REO came out second and then Styx closed. The song they recorded together was excellent live. Both bands came out and even brought out the .38 guys to join in...15 guys performing one song at the same time. It was really cool.

I didn't see them this tour but have seen both Styx and REO in the past. Fun Rock n Roll and good shows.:thumbsup:

Love REO Speedwagon! I saw them 3 times back in the day. Missed the first thread but I remember the second one. Hope you can keep this one going.
