Ok, stupid question probably but what is a pin code and how would one go about getting one? It sounds like there are some good deals to be had!

Not stupid at all. A pin code is usually provided to targeted individuals either via e-mail or postal mail. These are discounts offered directly by Disney. No-one knows how Disney selects the individuals to receive these codes so there is no way to get one - you just need to hope that Disney will target you for one of the codes.
