Question 1 - Having never been during the Food & Wine Festival, are the food booths open all day?

2 - Anyone have any insight on why on Friday Sept 25, the first day of Food & Wine, the park closes an hour earlier than the rest of the week? According to the calendar it closes at 8 that day instead of 9. Just curious.

Booth generally open when World Showcase opens and stay open until the end of the park day.

Haven't yet heard if something is going on that particular day.

I remember from last year that the food booths were pretty much open when World Showcase was open. It seemed more crowded in the evenings though so I'd recommend hitting the food booths in the afternoons if possible. I'm not sure why they are doing the 8pm closing, but I did notice it was every Friday in September not just the 25th.
