Is it possible to change our park hopper tickets to annual passes and how much is the difference. two adults and two kids.

We are going for 14 days in Sept and only purchased tickets for 10 days, so i didn't know if it would be worth it to gets annual passes as we usually go in sept and could use them next year.

If it is possible would you have to change the prior to using them, or can you change mid way, that way it gives us longer to use them?

If you upgrade to an AP, the first day of use on the AP becomes the ORIGINAL use of the MYW ticket.

The cost to upgrade is:

a. If the MYW ticket is used, the difference between the current cost of an AP and the current value of the ticket
b. If the MYW ticket is unused, the difference between the current cost of an AP and the original purchase price.

There could be a difference between the two, for example, if you buy the ticket this year and aren't going until next and the ticket prices increase, option 1 is your better plan.

Regardless of what you do, you'll get 366 day worth of park admissions. Trading a 10 day ticket in on the last day WILL NOT get you 376 days worth of admissions. There have been reports of this happening, but the CM was wrong in doing that. Arguing it will get you nowhere. Unless things have changed, the start date of the AP is a manually entered field on the computer and sometimes they screw up.

We just purchased our ticket via travel agent as a package for free dining in sept. Because we are going 14 days on a 10 day park hopper didn't know if it would be worth it to change to AP.
Does the AP give you the same things ie park hopping? and does it include the water parks?

Water parks are not included, park hopping is. To compare apple to apples you need to include the park hopping option onto your MYW tickers.

A regular AP runs about $499.

A 10 day park hopper runs $303. Getting 11 days of park hopping will run you $433. 12 Days of park hopping would be $512. You can forgo the park hopping and save some cash, but then you're not comparing apples to apples.

Personally, at over 10 days, I would get an AP. You're pretty close to the break even point, and should the opportunity present itself, another trip within the year is always good. I have found that often having to get park tickets is usually a deal breaker for us for those spur of the moment trips. Turns a cheap getaway into a major expense.

Number for those wishing to include water parks are:

PAP: $638
10 Day: $352
1 Day: $180
2 Day: $259
