Sun and Fun Pre-trip

Hey Gang! Michelle and I are heading up 6/12. I will drop off our dog at the sitters at 7 am. We should be on the road at 7:30. After a stop in Lake Wales at our favorite I Hop, we should pull into French Quarter at about 11:00. We plan on hanging out at the pool for the day. Early cocktails at Scat Cats lounge after getting cleaned up. We will then hit the Boardwalk for some time at Jellyrolls. Dinner will be at the Resort late. Either food court or Boatwrights. We get to sleep in a little because Typhoon Lagoon opens at 10:00 on Sat. Stay at the waterpark till we have had enough (usually 4 or 5). Shower up and a few :beer::marg: in the room, then off to DTD. Shop around, maybe Characters in flight, then 8:30 dinner at Planet Hollywood. Probably a little more looking around in the shops, then back to the room. Sleeping in a little in the morning, then breakfast at Konas at 10:20. It will be first time for the Tonga Toast! As weird as this sounds, I am really excited about the Toast! Hit the road after breakfast (Poor Michelle has a work engagement later Sun night), while hopefully I will be posting a successful trip report!! Stay tuned, thanks for reading!:mickey:

Hi BluewaterBrad and Michelle-You must live fairly close and get to visit Disney often...aren't you blessed! Sounds like a unique trip-enjoying different aspects than the person that must focus on the parks and the "rat race". I will look forward to hearing about your weekend and taking any advice.
