where to buy water sprayer/fan before trip?

Yeah - Walmart, Target, KMart, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens - just about anywhere especially right now with summer cranking up.

We used them last year in late August - lovely!!!

I was just at Walmart yesterday. I didn't check the price though. I would not delay long. The other poster is correct, you can probably find them in alot of retailers right now, but they won't last until your trip. Buy them soon !

I saw them at Walgreens and they were $9, which I thought was a lot. I got one at Walmart, and it was a dud and is going back. Maybe I should just get the WDW one. Anyone know how much they are in the parks?

I got my kids fans from Kmart for about $2 bucks each. They didn't have the misting feature but I have seen these at walmart all the time. Do know how much they cost.

The ones at WDW are close to $20, if not more by now, and honestly, they're just as cheap as the ones you could purchase at Wal Mart.
I'd check local stores first, maybe a camping store would have them?

I was able to get a 3 pack of Misty Mates ( handheld misters) at my local BJ'S Wholesale for about $15 last year and they worked great i saw them again this year and there were other types with them, but I don't remember the price this year

We have an "O2Cool" Just do a search for it you can purchase online for less tha $10 or about $10 at stores lke Target, Walmart, and Meijer.

Walmart had them for $2.50. Buy a bunch. Maybe even enough to sell to hot desperate people for 5 or six bucks apiece.

If you have a Big Lots or a Dollar Tree (everything's a dollar), you may find them pretty cheap. Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Rite-Aid...

I've gotten them at Target and Walmart (but they can be in a weird place there, so be prepared to have to hunt down a human and ask).

Take extra batteries with you - when we were there in August one year, someone swiped the batteries (which really surprised us - maybe they didn't consider that stealing???), and we ended up paying WDW prices for batteries, which is almost as painful as paying WDW prices for the fan itself.

We have had ours for several years, and they still work wonderfully - and get regular use.
