June 7, 1998 – Disney’s Broadway show “The Lion King” won 6 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Director, Choreography, Scenic Design, Costume Design, and Lighting Design.
June 7, 1999 – “Bear in the Big Blue House-Live on Stage” opened at Disney-MGM Studios at WDW.
June 7, 2001 - By this day all Met Life references were removed from the Wonders of Life Pavilion.
June 7, 2002 – Disney’s Kim Possible premiered on the Disney Channel.
June 7, 2002 – The Disney/Touchstone Picture film “Bad Company” was released.
June 7, 2004 – Disney’s animated short “Lorenzo” had its European premiere at Annecy, France. (it is based upon pencil sketches and a story idea created by Disney Veteran Joe Grant 20 years ago.)
June 7, 2005 – The “That’s So Raven” episode “Mismatch Maker” debuted on the Disney Channel for the first time.
June 7, 2005 – Disney released the album “Disney Girlz Rock” featuring Hilary & Haylie Duff, Raven, Everlife, Christy Carlson Romano, Christina Aguilera, and Aly & AJ.
June 7, 2006 – WDW announced that the Cinderella Castle apartment would be completely decorated and upholstered as a ‘royal bedchamber,’ which could sleep up to 4 people. It would become available as a once-in-a-lifetime experience during the “Year of a Million Dreams” celebration taking place at all 11 Disney theme parks.
June 7, 2007 – The “Gardens of the World” Tour ended in Epcot at WDW.

+1 Saw a stage version in our hometown with DD was 3 or 4. She loved it! Now at 11, she can't believe she ever watched it. Sad they have to grow up...:(
