Purchases delivered to room?

I know they used to do in room delivery for purchases made in the parks but switched to picking up at the gift shop. Well, I was looking for some information and stumbled upon this:

"Your Purchases Delivered to Your Room
Shop at select Disney stores throughout the Walt Disney World Resort and have your purchases delivered right to your room so you can be free to play without lugging around packages, nor have to interrupt your day to return to the hotel to drop them off."

This came directly from the Disney World web site. Can anyone confirm/deny if they have gone back to this policy? Its a tad more convenient than picking up from the gift shop but not a huge deal.

As far as I know, only concierge leve guests have delivery directly to their rooms. Everyone else must pick up purchases at the gift shop.

1) I guarantee that packages are delivered to the Gift Shop.
2) It was a huge manpower savings to stop room delivery.
3) The Club Floor still has room delivery.
4) That is because the manpower is already there, costing nothing.

When we were there in May, at FQ...the packages were delivered to the gift shop.

It really isn't a big deal, I'm just so glad not to have to carry everything around the parks all day :mickey:
