We made reservations for CBR for our honeymoon but are unsure if we can afford it now with all the wedding exspenses. We may (or may not) decide to stay off-site for our honeymoon if we dont come up with the money. My question is, if we cancel our reservations how long does it take to get the money back?:mickey:

Disney will say about 2 weeks or so. There are guidelines on how much you get back based on how close to your arrival you cancel.

Did you book a package or a room only reservation?

A package. room and tickets at CBR.

Packages need to be cancelled before the 45 day mark or you will incur a penalty.

When I recently changed reservations from a room only to a package, I was told it might take up to 2 billing cycles to get a credit from my original reservation. In the interim, my bank had reissued my credit card with a new number due to a security concern. Despite this, my credit back from Disney was reflected on my very next
bill.
