We've always pronounced it "Ack - er- shoos". None of the CM's in Norway have corrected us, so I assume that's the proper pronunciation.

If you look it up on Wikipedia, akershus, they have an audio pronunciation. It sounds like the above poster is correct. Personally I've always just called it that restaurant in Norway. :blush:

Having had the same issue myself, the cast member on the dining reservations line was able to provide me with the same pronounciation the first responder gave to you.
