We are thinking of a summer trip to PEI.Has anyone been there? Can you reccommend accomodations?We are looking to stay in the Cavendish area.I'm a HUGE Anne of Green Gables fan and "Anne" things will be the focus of our trip.

Being from Nova Scotia we have travelled to PEI many times.

This summer there is a Country Music Festival, including Tim McGraw, Reba McIntryre and many others. This is July 10, 11, 12.

There are plenty of camp grounds in the area. They do book up early. You could even stay in Charlottetown and drive to Cavendish. Remeber PEI is pretty small. There are many Hotels and Motels, including Holiday Inn Express which is pretty good.

The bridge looks pretty impressive from the shore but once you are on it you can see nothing in regards to ocean. There is a fee for crossing the Confederation Bridge, approx- 42.50CAN.

Once you are on PEI there is a nice visitors area where you can shop.

I am sure you will enjoy PEI.
