so this info may be outdated....

We got a room in Ranchos 7B I htink, it was an adjoining room and we did not want that. We heard everything the neighbors did..we moved. I did not love the location but I really did not like the adjoining room. Also the room was not that clean and it was BEAT UP> The whole place may be rehabbed by now. My kids 4 and 7 loved the pool Although it was a bit chilly) and sandy beach. They moved us to Cabanas after day 2. The Pepper market was VERY GOOD too IMO. At least for adults, their kids meal choices were just so-so.

I think it was nice and hopefully you enjoy your stay

Yes, 7b is currently being renovated this month. 7b is a quiet pool building and is close to the main pool and bus stop #4.

It really depends on what you want to be close to as far as what area you should request (remember, just a request and not a guarantee). DH and I have stayed in Casitas 4 or 5 on four of our seven stays (the other three we were in Casitas 2 and 3). Casitas 4 and 5 are very close to Bus Stop 2 which is the first stop picked up and dropped off; it is also close to the quiet pool and the fitness center/spa. It takes us (50+ in years) about five or six minutes to walk to the main building and less than 10 minutes to walk to the main pool from these buildings.
