Turn-Down Service

This trip will be our first at a Deluxe. We are in the CR tower but not concierge. I read about requesting turn-down service and it did not sound like it is just concierge so my questions are: what is turn-down service and is it just for concierge level? TIA! :blush:

We have gotten turn down service without asking at the GF but never have gotten it at CR Tower or WL, both Deluxe's. I don't know if you can ask for it or not. I just assumed that it was part of the service at GF because it is the $$$$ of the deluxes. I'm sure someone will be along with the information. Enjoy your stay!!!!!:mickey:

1) All Deluxes, except DVC's, offer turn down service.
2) At GF, it is automatic, even for non-Club-Floor.
3) At others, you MUST request it, unless staying Club Floor.
4) Deluxe resorts, except GF, are not staffed for turn downs.
5) If you get it depends upon
. . . how many other people requested turn down
. . . if there are enough maids on second shift
. . . turn downs are not done in the order of request
. . . they are done where the maids are staffed in the resort

Turn down service is just that... They'll turn down the sheets and leave a chocolate for you. They'll also put fresh linens in the bathroom. Just details, but it can make you feel like royalty if you're in to it.

Thanks for the info! We are trying to make mom feel like royalty on this trip so we'll have to try to do it at least once. :mickey:
