View Full Version : Sci-Fi, 50's or Mama Melrose?

Because we are travelling with a 13 month old baby this trip, I thought it would be better to eat in the park we are in, instead of leaving to eat. The day we are in MGM, I am trying to decide between 50's, Sci-Fi and Mama Melrose. I am aware that Mama has far superior food but atmosphere may be more important on this trip to keep the baby happy. Any thoughts on any of these three would be appreciated. Thanks :mickey:

I think you should choose the restaurant based on what you and your spouse want to eat. Your 13 month old will be happy wherever you go.

I agree with Kathy. I think Mama's would be a nice change of pace from the over stimulation of the park.

I would definitely pick the 50s Prime Time Cafe. The waiters and waitresses will take really good care of your child and make sure that you have fun too.

Stay away from Sci-Fi with a baby. Most of the tables are set up as cars with front and back seats and there is little room for highchairs or booster seats. :mickey:

We've eaten at all three. Sci Fi would be my last pick for your situation and our last pick overall (poor food quality). 50's Prime Time has a great "homey" atmosphere and would be a neat experience for the adults eating. For the 13 month old - it wouldn't matter either way between 50's or Mama's. We gave up 50's our last trip to try Mama's. Even though Mama's was good food, we love the unique dining experience at 50's.

Good choice... I ate at Sci Fi last year and I was not too impressed with the food... Our food was cold and not too good... The service was fine though... 50's is a great choice..
