D23 - anyone join?

I learned of D23 the other day on Disney's website. On a whim, I decided to sign my DD3 up for it just for the heck of it. We just got the cute poster for joining. I look forward to buying some of the Charter Member only pins and stuff.

Does anyone else know anything about this program?

I'm not joining because of the cost and Disney tends to cancel things like this eventually.

I really don't think it is that expensive, it works out to only like $7.00 a month.

I joined on Day 1- out of curiosity. :mickey:

The quarterly publication is very nice-I think a tad overpriced- but very nice anyway.
I am interested to see what kinds of offerings they have for the membership. Just today they announced a number of events in WDW and California, and even a few theatrical events (NYC and Chicago). I can't attend any of them, but I am interested to read about how they turn out.

I am giving them the benefit of the doubt (and my money) for one year- then will re-evaluate when it comes time to renew.
