We have stayed at the PoP several times - each time staying in the 50's building overlooking Hour-Glass Lake. This year we would like to stay in a different part of the resort. We do not want to pay for a prefered room but want to stay as close as we can to the main building but in a fun area. Any ideas? Thank you:mickey:

We have stayed in the 70's behind the Mickey Phone. It is pretty close to the food court and the fountains with Goofy, by the Foos ball players, and close to the Hippy Dippy Pool.:mickey:

We have stayed in the 50's, 70's and 90's and this time DD(8) begged me to stay in the 60's section and to request a pool view room! I have heard that it is noisy over there but we are pretty heavy sleepers and should not have any issues with that!

Enjoy your stay!!

We love the 50's 4th floor facing Epcot. You can see the fireworks every night. So nice!

The closest you can get to Classic Hall is in the 60s. Even the standard rooms are close. The second closest would be 70s.

We have been in Building 3 (50's,) Building 7 (80's,) and Building 9 (80's) and have enjoyed each. As far as distance to Classic Hall and the food courts, Building 9 and Building 3 were closer than Building 7, and Building 9 and Building 7 were closer to the bus pick up points.

Buildings 7 and 8 are probably the farthest from the Food Court, but none of the distances were outrageous.

Thank you all! Thinking about this is getting me really excited about our September trip:mickey:I think we will try to get a room in the 70's or 80's. It will be fun to be on the other side of the resort for a change.
