We are looking at doing our first driving trip down to the world in 2010 or 2011...we would be bringing our three dogs and are looking into camping...We could stay 5-6 nights at a value but 10-14 at the campsites...seems like a no brainer to me! My question is about this statement under the accomadations section for Disney's Campgrounds
" * Because Guests' four-legged family friends are allowed to stay at designated campsites, Disney has contracted with Best Friends Pet Care to provide kennel and care services"

Does this mean if we housed our dogs at the wilderness location vs epcot, we could bring the dogs back to our site for some extra cuddle/play time??

If you are staying in a hard side rv you do not need to kennel your dogs at all. If it is a tent, or softside rv like a pop-up your dogs must be taken to the kennel when you leave your campsite. There is a $5 per night fee for each pet while staying at The Fort. All the kennels are run by a private company not Disney.

You can reserve a pet loop. We always stay on 300 with our 3 dogs. Anyone know if there are better pet loops? We like to walk to the boats but I really don't want to pay for a premium.

Well we would kennel our dogs day and night, it would just be fun to walk around with them, play with them during our afternoon breaks, or bring them back for some extra cuddle time! Is there still the $5 surcharge if they are being kenneled day and night?

The pet fee is only if you take them to your site.

300 is preferred not premium. If you downgraded to a full site, you would be in the 1600-1900 loops.

So 300 would be a dog loop? Because that would be awesome!

Yes 300 is a preferred pet loop. It is right next to the dog park and a short walk to the boat to MK.

I know there is a $5 a night fee for pets ( all pets, one fee) in the pet loop. I don't think that includes the kennel. We don't use the kennel since we have a hard sided rv so I can't quote those prices for you.

I just looked at the map and the 300 loop has a fantastic location...is it just the base price plus the $5 per night or is it more for a "premium site" and how much does it cost??? This looks so perfect for us!!
