Could someone please tell me if there is an age limit for horse/pony riding at Fort Wilderness?.My little girl is 5 and would to go but I dont want to go if she can't have a go:mickey:

We did the trail ride as a family in March. The child has to be at least 9 for the trail ride, however, pony rides are different, and I believe she can do that.

These would be two separate activities. The Pony rides are available for children ages 2-8 and it costs $4. Basically, they are led around the ring by a handler.

Horseback trail riding is available with a minimum age of 9 (as the previous poster mentioned). It's a pretty tame ride, but no one under 9. You can find additional information here, http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/recreation/horseback.asp .

You can pre-book horse rides, but ponies are walk-up.
