POFQ to Downtown Disney?

When my family goes from POFQ to Downtown Disney, would it be quicker to take the bus or the boat?

We are going to stay at POFQ on our next stay and are really looking forward to taking the boat. I would think (weather permitting) it would be just as fast and much more relaxing. Besides, you'll be on busses most of the trip anyways, so why not take a different mode of transport? I think the timing is about the same.

Time wise it's about the same, when you factor in the wait time. The boat is really nice and you will see some different things. Also, some of the boat captn's give you all sorts of interesting info along the trip.

We loved the boat.

Boat! Don't have to worry about traffic, extra stops etc. Also shorter walk when you get off than from the bus stop.:thumbsup:

I would recommend taking the boat ride to dtd. My family did this on our first stay at pofq this past december and it was a wonderful ride. It is one of the reason's we are staying at pofq again this december. I love taking the boat it's very relaxing.

The boat is such a nice ride - a very welcome break from taking a bus somewhere. It's also really fun at night to see everything lit up. Enjoy your stay!!

The boat is a different experience than the bus. Take the boat if you can :boat:

Bus!!! When I was there in September the wait for the boat was over an hour long. It took less time to meet the princesses in toon town.:princess:

Had a coworker do both bus and boat. She said it took about the same amount of time, but she preferred the boat.
