Counter Service at Italy??

Last year I remember reading something about a counter service at Italy at some point in the future.. I haven't read anything since. Is this still a plan for Italy? If so, when is it scheduled to open?

Don't know, but we were there 2 weeks ago and no sign of any counter service.:(
