Southwest Credits

We are planning a trip to Disney World in September. I have credit with SWA that is set to expire in August. I would like to know if anyone has ever had success with SWA extending the expiration date for credit. I need 1 extra month

Last Sept. I called Southwest about the same thing. They told me that you have to fill out paperwork to request it and that each confirmation number requires $50. We had two, so that would've cost us $100.00 and our credit was only $200.00. Right now I have a $410 credit that expires in March and I don't think we will be using it. Gonna try to sell it on a auction website.

Yes, you can extend it, but as mentioned, it's a process and probably will not give you enough time. You have to wait for it to expire before you can request an extension. $50 a pop.
