I can't forsee why it wouldn't be done. It's a HUGE draw every year.

It's always up by the first week of October. HM is usually closed for a couple weeks end of September to get it up.

I think theres some speculation here because of the HM 40th anniversary events coming up this year (9-9-09) I've heard they won't have enough time to do the change-over but thats kind of hard to believe since like you said its such a big draw for the crowds.

The official closing dates are September 8th thru 25th. The Mansion will be up and running by the 30th at the very latest. Don't worry it should more than open by Oct 1st!

So the haunted mansion will be closed while we're there for the first time. Bummer we were looking forward to seeing the haunted mansion whilst we're there.

There is no official date for HM closure ... it does close for about 3 weeks to do bring out the Nightmare overlay, we will post the info from the official calendar as soon as Disney updates their official calendar. :bat:
