POP Century...trip report.... A+

We stayed at POP Century from March 5th -14th. This was our 6th time visiting Disney . We flew on Spirit Airlines out of Atlantic City NJ at 630am and arrived in Orlando about 845am. The flight was wonderful! Check in at POP went very smoothly and we stayed in the 50s bldg, lakeside. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and housekeeping did a GREAT job each day!! We visited each pool but my daughters favorite was the Bowling Pin pool! Crystal clean and quite warm. It was nice not to have to worry about towels . When you are finished with your pool day just put the towels in the bin and then call for more towels. The grounds were clean and very manacured!! Sunsets were BEAUTIFUL each and everynight as we had perfect weather each day. On our last day it was a bit cloudy but no rain whatsoever! The food hall was great also. It does get a bit crowded and very loud at times BUT that is to be expected. We were up each morning very early to beat the crowds and start our day! I was very surprised with the Disney transportation. THE longest we ever waited for a bus was at Animal Kingdom and the wait was about 15 mins or so..THAT WAS IT!! I have to say we really had a perfect time here at POP!! So great that we are going back in Aug .....:thumbsup:

We stayed at Pop Century a year ago. It was amazing. We had a connecting room with my parents which I think helped a little bit as well. We stayed at WL in November. As nice as WL was, I could not get over the price difference. I could have had limo to and from parks every day and saved money if we went to Pop. It was cold at WL when we were there, so we were not able to enjoy the pool and other things.

my family and I love the POP also. We keep saying that we are going to stay somewhere else, but always return to POP. And the food there is pretty good. However our next stay we will pay for preferred...we've been stuck in 80's both times we have gone.

We also love POP. We have stayed there 3 times and are heading back there from the 10-19th of September. Our son and his family have decided to join us. The food court is great, and yes can get crowded and noisy, but we love it. Out favorite pool is the Hippy Dippy Pool and we think the busses are great also.

Kim, sounds like it was a great trip! We spent a couple of nights at Pop a couple of years ago and enjoyed our stay there as well!

Great to hear as we will be staying at POP for the first time next month. When we booked a few months ago the preferred rooms were booked, so we are hoping to get into the 70's section! I hope my stay goes as good as yours did!!

Thanks for the reports on the POP. We will be staying there in 10 days, and we have never done a value resort before. We have done the POR the past 2 years - but went for the POP this year. Glad it looks like a good place to stay....

We were there at the same time - March 10 - 15 in the '80's. I have to agree, Pop is great and totally exceeded my expectations! I'm sure we'll be staying there again.

Thanks for the feedback! I am also a big fan of Pop Century! Sometimes when planning a new trip I think I'll try a moderate or other value resort, but always stay at Pop instead!

I'm POP loyal too!!! I have stayed at POP for the last 3 years and loved it. The price of POP can't be beat! :thumbsup:

Glad to hear you had a good time! I was pleasantly surprised by Pop - and definitely wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The front desk CM's are amazing!
