I'm sure most of you know, but as a reminder Southwest opens its schedule tomorrow (April 14) for dates through October 30.

What time does the schedule usually open?

Sometimes there fares are high at first, but do come down after a few weeks. It would be great to have $49.00 tomorrow. Good luck to all that need it.

Just checked and flights for the end of August for 4 of us from Buffalo is $1200!!! Pretty pricey since I got quotes for $800 just last week on other carriers.

I hope that Wildernesslady is right, and the prices will drop soon. Otherwise we will do the drive.

It was $800 for the 3 of us from Houston, but I went ahead and booked because it was still better than the rest (plus when you add in baggage fees and such it makes an even bigger difference) and the number of flights seems to be reduced.

TPA to BDL is $125 one way for our return flights. I got $78 one way going down to TPA, so I will wait for fares to go down.

Right now, SW flights are $20 more for September than they are for August for the same setup (Tuesday - Wednesday [of the following week])

Also, they're showing fewer flights in total for those dates!!

I guess I'll just have to keep checking back and hoping for better.

I did book one way from PHL to MCO. It was $89 for a Saturday. I am waiting for my return flight since we fly on a Wednesday and the price is the same. Middle of week days usually goes down.

This made our decision. we are going September 8 to 22 yeah!:yay:

Southwest has their flights until Oct posted, and we got one way $59. Can't believe it!

We are staying at the POP for the first time, and taking our 4 and 5 year old granddaughters. Any suggestions?

We are going August 23-Sept5 and it is $159+ per way for us. When I priced it out it was over $1200. I can get cheaper flights from Toronto!

But I will be watching for the prices to drop!:)

Booked today and got $78 for our flight down. Going 9/17 to 9/27. Waiting for our return flight still kinda high, $109. Hopefully I can use the credit I get from our lower airfare to put twords that!:thumbsup:

I checked and our flights would be 78 each way also....and I also noticed that from PIT to MCO there are less flights than normal -- I believe four now instead of six -- so there is a cutback on the flights here in PIT.

I think I'm gonna wait a week or two to buyy ours to see if they go down at all, but I'm kinda guessing not -- the DING fares I've been seeing have been 71 each way, so that is not that much difference, but it's a little and that is a :bar: for everyone!

I waited until today to book with SW. Today the prices from PHL were 59 bucks each way per person! On Tuesday when it opened up they were 89. YEAH!

I would absolutely LUV (pun intended) if SW lowered the PIT to MCO fare to 59!!! It's still 78 which is where it started off.......I'll keep checking each day and cross my fingers.

I'm looking for SW 9/6-9/16 from Raleigh. Still $83 hoping for less or we will be driving.
