Touring the Bay Lake Room in SSR

My DH and I will be splitting our stay in May between AKV (our home resort)and SSR our first vacation as new DVC members:mickey: I would like to check out the BLT rooms do I just walk up to the vacation club office and say I want to tour the room? Do I have to schedule an appt to tour it?:unsure:

We just walked up to the preview center and walked in; no need to register.

I'm not sure what the hours of operation are at the preview center; perhaps someone else has that info. We went mid-afternoon.

I believe the BLT/AKV models are open 5-7pm for viewing.

Usually you can just walk in, though if it is a busy season, they do prefer if you call and verify it. SOmetimes the CM's there have to lock up and take prospecting DVC members elsewhere, so they may be temporarily closed. If you walk by and it's open, just ask if you can come in a look, otherwise I would call ahead to be certain.
