Which longhouse has the best view of the castle- would you recommend one in particular or a specific room? We are not staying concierge level. Thanks!:tikki:

Stick with a recommendation on a building ... the odds of getting a specific room are very long, and if that room isn't available the rooms assigner won't know why you wanted that exact room, meaning it will be as if you made no request at all.

At Polynesian, Theme Park View means an unobstructed view of Cinderella Castle.

There are 3 TPV buildings, each a little different. There are pros and cons to each.

Aotearoa is my least favorite of the three. It is pretty far set back from the lagoon. In addition, you have a sort-of tunnel vision view of the Castle due to the fact that the Fiji longhouse juts forward and to the right of Aotearoa. The only path leading to the Luau Cove goes right past the front of Aotearoa, meaning that at least twice a day it's gotta be a little noisy and at least for the first floor rooms there would be a lack of privacy at least at those times. In addition, the 2nd floor rooms don't have balconies.

Tuvalu has a nice wide open view. There is no beach in front of the building ... except for a little bit of grass you are just about right on the lagoon. This could be either a positive or negative, depending on your opinion. The 2nd floor rooms do not have balconies.

Tahiti is my first choice. From there, you have a panoramic view of Magic Kingdom, as well as Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and the TTC dock (the same goes for the view from Tuvalu, minus the TTC dock, which isn't all that good looking, anyway!). Tahiti has balconies on all 2nd and 3rd floor rooms, not just the 3rd floor like the other two buildings. Tahiti is a newer building ... the rooms are about 30 square feet larger and the bathrooms have 2 sinks instead of 1 sink at the other two buildings. Tahiti is right next door to the TTC, meaning that it's very convenient to getting a direct monorail to and from Epcot. However, because it's so close to the TTC, it is, by definition, fairly far from the Great Ceremonial House, about a third of a mile.

If you have any other questions, please post them! :mickey:
