Port Canaveral to Caribbean Beach

Could anyone tell me how long it would take to get from port canaveral to Caribbean Beach resort or to just disney world in general?
We are taking a carnival cruise for our honeymoon and then are going to do a couple days in disney. I am just trying to plan how long it will take.

As a basic about an hour to an hour & a half.
Depends on route, traffic, etc. Are you driving or taking a bus or using some other transport ?

Taking 528 (Beachline) West to 417 South and into Disney property and CBR should take you just about an hour providing there's no accidents or anything else to back up traffic.

We are either going to take a cab or rent a car... not sure which would be better

You'll probably want to rent a car. A cab will charge you well over $100 to go to Disney! The car will probably be around $40 or so...we just did the same thing 2 weeks ago :mickey:

Everyone is right. It takes about an hour, maybe another half to get there. I would rent a car. Then you don't have to rely on taxi's.

Remember that the Bee Line is a toll highway. It isn't very expensive, but you need to have a few dollars in change to make the stops fast.

The Space Port isn't cheap, but well worth the time. Even my girls, when they were younger enjoyed it.
