Different "Season" Between Deluxe & Moderate

Hi,

We have a last week of July 09 trip planned staying at the WL. I am curious why this time of year is listed as "Value" season for the deluxe resorts and the moderates list it as "Summer" season.

Any insight would be great!

I've always thought that they do this to ensure that their higher-priced accommodations fill up more completely during the mid-July/August timeframe. On the years that we go in July, we always ensure that our arrival coincides with the change in "Season". It's a sure bet to drop our accommodation rates by a large amount. If A/P rates are added on top of that, it's a real value to stay at a deluxe during what's considered the Value/Moderate "Summer" season. :mickey:
