I was looking back at some old threads and noticed that some people mentioned the Pop Warner crouds for the first week of December. Any info if this sort of thing is still going on because we still have time to adjust our trip to avoid this if needed.

Pop Warner is youth football. It seems to me I heard there was a problem with them last year and they were kicked out of some of the resorts.

Pop Warner's Youth football league holds their superbowl championships each year at Disney's Wide World of Sports. Along with that are Pop Warner cheerleading championships.

Those participating in these activities tend to stay in the value resorts and some of the moderate. Their impact is largely felt in the resort areas and they only have minimal impact on the parks.

A few teams were asked to leave the resorts last year.

Last year, it was held December 7th - 13th. This year's dates will likely be similar.

Pop Warner traditionally begins on the first Sunday of December (they start coming in on Saturday) and runs for a week. If that holds true, this year the dates would be the 6th-12th.

When we were there in 2005 we didn't really see any impact and we stayed at ASMu.
