Free Dining in December

I remember last year that Free Dining became available in December...does anyone remember the specifics? Or any insiders do you know if it will be available this year? If i Remember right it was December 13-22 or something like that.
Another question about free dining...If we plan on dining and our vacation starts on one of the last few days the dining plan is available. do we just get those days? or does it extend throughout the week?

I participated in December's free dining - we stayed past the time it was included for our duration.

The December Free Dining promotion in 2008 was for Disney Visa holders only. It was not offered to the general public. There was a general public promotion that was a very good discount on packages offered for Oct. to Dec. last fall.
