Pirate & Princess Party

I apologize if someone has already asked this question, but has anyone heard if they are going to still offer this party? We will be at WDW from May 2-9 and would love to go since it is the only party that we haven't done yet.

There are no dates for this year (they briefly announced some dates, but then they were cancelled)

It's too bad, we went last year, and really enjoyed it!

When I called to modify our reservations a couple days ago I asked about this and was told it's not happening this year. :(

The P&P were canceled for 2009, unfortunately. It really is a shame (the P&P were my favorite of the 3 parties). :(

Best fireworks IMO. The battle over the castle scene was incredible. I hope they bring it back next year.

It's gone for '09 which is a big loss IMO especially seeing these crowd levels doesn't make much sense now that it's gone right? Sorry hopefully it will be back again, we can dream right:mickey:

Yep, sadly it will not be around this year and from what I understand it is on hold indefinitely until things pick up economy-wise a bit. This is unfortunate as DW and I were hoping to attend one of these in the future. Oh well, guess we will se what happens.
