Does anyone have an idea when Disney will be releasing their prices for 2010? I'd like to start planning, but I don't know when I'll be able to book.

The packages for 2010 will most likely be out in mid-late August.

You can book a room-only now, (at the current rack-rate, which will be adjusted once rates are out for 2010) and then upgrade to a package when the rates come out, but is probably just easier to book once the rates are confirmed and everything is available to book.

Thanks! I guess I'll wait. My husband thinks that I'm crazy for being a super-planner. I think part of the Disney fun is planning the vacation.

I totally agree with the "planning" part. We want to go Sept. 2010 and I"m already chomping at the bit to get started. My DH can't understand why I would already be thinking about it! It puts me in my 'Happy Place'. ha ha. BUT - I got in touch with MJ to ask about booking end of September 2010 and she said beginning sometime in May 2009 (she gave me the exact date - I think it was May 20th), we could reserve a "non guaranteed" rack rate. I think this just "puts us on the books", then when the new rates come out, it'll be adjusted. So I don't know if May 2009 is when ALL reservations can be put on the books, or if that was the date determined due to when we want to go next. I know - it can't come soon enough though can it??

I booked a room for Jan. 2010 and learned it is 500 days from check-in that you can book.

We are planning one for Dec 2010, this is where I have decided that I am indeed insane. Because I am starting to plan for this trip and we haven't even gone on our trip for April yet.

I can't wait to get started will all the arrangements again though. I really enjoy all aspects of this from the planning to the execution. I am a big nut!

Ooh, this means that I can make the new rez in August for Dec 2010!!!:cloud9:
