What is the best standard room to request at the Boardwalk. I know nothing about this resort.

I don't have oodles of experience or anything...We have only stayed at the Boardwalk 1 time - but I loved it so much, we bought DVC there (and will have our first BWV DVC trip this August! :clappy: )
We had a standard room a million miles away from the main building, around by the quiet pool on the Inn side. We overlooked a grand staircase, and could walk down the stairs near our room to the quiet pool. It was beautiful to sit on our balcony after a swim, or in the morning, or late at night ...
I will ask my husband to post some links to the pictures we took from and in our room. It was a really really lovely stay!
I hope you have a fabulous time!

As the dutiful husband that I am :D, here is a link to our pictures (http://www.flickr.com/photos/10566431@N04/sets/72157615886735344/detail/). If you want to see them in greater detail just click on the picture. We stayed in room# 2333.
As my DW said it was a great location even after the long walk from the lobby. It sure was a nice quiet spot to relax after facing the crowds at the parks.

Thanks so much to both of you. I read your posts all the time.
Im doubt we can stay at BWI because I just found out that the daybed they use is a Junior daybed which is smaller that the one at the YC,BC or Poly. Im very disappointed because I wanted to try something new.

Great pictures, I think those were before they renoveted and changed the daybeds. I need to put a small teenager on it.

These pictures were from the summer of '06, so it was before any recent refurbs. The day bed was quite small but was comfortable enough.
