I read somewhere that San Angel Inn in Epcot will be closing for refurbishment on May 10th, but have been unable to find anymore details on this. Does anyone know if it will be open or not when we go June 13th-20th? :confused:

It has only been announced that it will close May 10th.

It has not been announced as to how long the renovations will last.

When any further information is announced it will be posted.

Oh man, I hope it will be open by Sept. My husband fell in love with one of their steak dishes last year (a HUGE improvement in the food since
we had last gone in 2004).

With Space Mountain being closed during our next trip, a closed San Angel Inn may send him over the edge! haha

Any word on what kind of renovations they are doing? Do you think they will change the menu at all? Initial reports have only indicated that the renovations are related to the addition of an attached tequila bar area.

Have you tried making any reservations for any day that your there? I'm assuming if San Angel will be closed during the duration of your trip, they would probably inform you if it will be closed.

I'm actually going to call right now and see if they let be book anything for June 19. I'll keep you posted :mickey:

We will be vacationing June 14 - 20. My sister tried to book a dinner for June 16 at San Angel Inn but was told it would be closed for refurbishment.

.....boy I sure hope they refurb the food and wait staff.....that is our all time worst dinning experience at any Disney eatery.....:ack:

I tried booking for July 9 -11 and was told there were no available reservations for the times I requested. No mention was made that it would be closed.
