Quick Trip: April 6-10

My plans to visit the world in May look dim. I was thinking, the kids are on spring break the week of April 6th. Would it be too much to rent a car, drive down (about 6 hrs) and stay off-site so that we can get our disney fix for a day or so? Is it too late to book being that April is a month away? If not, where can I find some good deals? What about ADR's? Please help! :sob:

I think Easter is the 12th of April and I believe the week before and after are really busy. Having never been during a busy time, you might not have any luck with ADR's.
