Hi, I once read somewhere that characters road on the Riverboat, is that true?

On a couple of occasions, I've run into Davy Crockett on the Riverboat. Generally, though, there aren't any characters on board.

I've never seen any characters on the Riverboat.

Years back, they were there, at least at the exit. Not sure how often they rode -- but I know that we saw both the Brers and some Country Bears there. There was always a crowd / congestion at the exit / wheelchair entrance to the Riverboat, as people tried to take pictures. One time, we were trying to board, and had to wait for a bear to disembark -- so they did ride occasionally. It was quite a ways back, though. I wonder if it may have been before they were doing meets at Splash Mountain, before that opened?
