Date Change Question

We had our ressies for May 2nd-9th all planned out. Well, absent minded me forgot until last nite that my daughters dance recital is May 2nd and 3rd, so we're gonna have to change our dates. (She loves dance second only to soccer so no "missing" the recital). Anyway, we're now looking at either the 2nd week in May, or the
3rd or 4th week in April. I like April better because the weather won't be quite as hot, but I like May because less spring breakers there I assume. How hot is it the middle of May? And which of the above times would u choose and why? Thanks so much!

We went May 10 - 17 last year, and it was just about perfect.

The weather was hot, but not crazy-hot yet, the evenings were even a bit cool for swimming, and the crowds were quite low.

I've never been in April, but we liked May enough that we're heading back the same time this year.

I've never been in April either but am a big fan of early to mid-May. It is getting rather hot and humid in May though.
