We are tent camping at Ft. Wilderness later this year for the first time and have a couple of questions. Do we have grills on the site that if we bring charcoal we can grill food? Also, what loop should we request? Can we park a car on our campsite? Can we have parking passes for 3 vehicles if some are left up in the main lot? Thanks for your help!

The 1500 loop is great for tent camping. There are charcoal grills at the campsite. You can park one car at the site and park the others in the overflow lot up front. Just tell them you need the extra parking passes when you check-in.

Here is a map (http://www.intercot.com/resorts/disney/maps/images/fwcg07.JPG) to help you out. The other tent loop is 2000. You can also put a tent in any loop you are not restricted to just those. The new premium sites will be difficult to put a tent on since the sand pads are now gone and replaced with concrete.

I agree with either the 1500 or 2000 loops. The 1500 hundred loop does not have a comfort station on it, as it shares with other loops. The 2000 loop has two comfort stations on it. Both are nice, and I hope you have a great time:thumbsup:

The 1500 loop is just a 2-3 minute walk from the meadow pool and the campfire sing-along outdoor movie theater. Very convenient. Although it does not have a comfort station all to itself, the 1500 loop is relatively small and the comfort station is literally right next to the loop, no more than a minute walk from the farthest site.

We liked the 2000 loop as they seemed bigger than the 1500. That could be wrong though. There is plenty of room on it though. We had a 24 foot pop up and a 12 X 20 screen house on it along with our van. There are 3 comfort stations on that loop also and it's only about a 6-7 minute walk to the pool. The 100/200 and 300 loops I believe still have the sand pit to put a tent on, last year they did and I don't believe they are changing those loops.
